The Pirandello Society of America was founded in 1958 by Marta Abba and George Freedley (and others) in New York City. 

"PSA" is an annual volume dedicated to Luigi Pirandello as the father of the contemporary theatre, to the promotion of the work of Luigi Pirandello in the United States, and his influence on modern playwrights (such as Edward Albee and Georges Strehler). 

"PSA" contains editorials, critiques, and other articles of interest to students, playwrights, authors and Pirandellian Scholars.
